 Talking about splendid ceremony we can’t miss Madonna and Guy Ritchie wedding. The happy affair took place on December, 22 2000 in the castle Skibo in Scotland with unknown number of guests. The bride’s dress was so majestic- cream-coloured without shoulder-straps, in combination with accessories and a brilliant coronet, worn by Monaco princess Grace. Guy Ritchie and his son Roko were dressed as real Scotsmen with chequered skirts. Madonna’s daughter- Lurdes reminiscented of an angel with her white dress. The wedding was forbidden for paparazzi and the only picture was taken few years later, followed by a huge scandal. The amount of money they spent for the event was around 1.5 $ million.

Pierce Brosnan and Keely Shaye Smith wedding also came up to 1.5 $ million, held on August 4, 2001 in Ashford castle in Ireland with modest amount of guests- 120. Pierce Brosnan is a famous actor and his wife is journalist and presenter. The so called “wedding of agent 007” took place in an ancient castle on the side of a lake. The wedding cake was similar to the cake from the wedding of John Kennedy and Jacqueline Onassis. Keely gave her James Bond ice sculpture “kiss”, as a symbol of her love. The sumptuous event ended with spectacular fireworks.

Michael Douglas contracted a marriage to Catherine Zeta-Jones on 18 November, 2000 in Plaza Hotel, New York with guests 205. Their wedding cost 2 million pounds sterling. He is a famous actor and producer and she- also famous actress, who won Oscar. The wedding event was in Hollywood spirit and splendid kingly. At the beginning Michael gave her an engagement ring with diamond for 2 million $ on it and she couldn’t stay on this proposal and said Yes. The diamond shimmer was supplemented with the tiara which Catherine Zeta-Jones was wearing. The happily couple accepted guests only with holograms invitations in order to avoid uninvited ones. Despite their age difference Michael and Catherine are happily married and growing up their two kids.
