is an American singer-songwriter and television personality. Born in Staten Island, New York and raised in Wexford, Pennsylvania, she appeared in television shows as a child before signing with RCA Records
in 1998. During her first decade in the music industry, she became a
prominent figure in mainstream popular music and popular culture.
Aguilera's first three studio albums,

My Kind of Christmas (2000) achieved international success; the former spawned the number-one US

Maria Halle Berry, though her name was legally changed to Halle Maria Berry at the age of five.
Berry's parents selected her middle name from Halle's Department Store, which was then a local landmark in her birthplace of Cleveland, Ohio.
Her mother, Judith Ann (née Hawkins),
who is of English and German descent, was a psychiatric nurse.
Her father, Jerome Jesse Berry, was an African American hospital attendant in the same psychiatric ward where her mother worked; he later became a bus driver.

Dawson was born in New York City, New York. Her mother, Isabel Celeste, is a writer and singer who is of Puerto Rican and Afro-Cuban descent. Isabel was sixteen years old when Rosario was born; she never married Rosario's biological father, Patrick C. Harris.
When Rosario was one year old, her mother married Greg Dawson, a
construction worker, who "loved and raised Rosario as his own daughter"
(Dawson has stated that "He's always been my dad").
Dawson has a half-brother, Clay, who is four years younger. Isabel and Greg divorced in 2006.

relative poverty.
After her parents divorced, she was raised by her mother, a school
teacher, and her often out-of-work stepfather. She helped support the
family at a young age, bringing home paychecks from early dancing and
singing gigs.

Giada Pamela De Laurentiis was born in Rome, Italy, the eldest child of actress Veronica De Laurentiis and her first husband, actor-producer Alex De Benedetti.
De Benedetti was a close associate of Giada's maternal grandfather, film producer Dino De Laurentiis.
As a child, Giada often found herself in the family's kitchen and spent
a great deal of time at her grandfather's restaurant, DDL Foodshow.
Her parents were married in February 1970 but were later divorced.
After her parents' divorce, Giada and her siblings moved to Southern California where they took their mother's surname.
De Laurentiis' maternal grandmother was Italian film star Silvana Mangano.
Her siblings include sister Eloisa, a makeup artist, and brothers Igor and Dino Alexander II, a Hollywood film editor who died of melanoma in 2003.
Her stepfather is producer Ivan Kavalsky.

The middle child of Puerto Rican parents Guadalupe Rodriguez and David Lopez, she has an elder sister, Leslie, and a younger sister, Lynda.
David worked the night shift at the Guardian Insurance Company, before
becoming a computer technician at the firm, while Guadalupe was a
homemaker. When Lopez was born, the family was living in a small
apartment. A few years later, her parents had saved up enough money to
be able to purchase a two-story house, which was considered a big deal
for the relatively poor family.
At the age of five, Lopez began taking singing and dancing lessons.
