Firefall-ponytail California

In one of the most beautiful places in the U.S. is an interesting natural phenomenon. In Yosemite National Park, located within the state of California, is one of the highest waterfalls in the world, namely the Waterfall Ponytail.

Moreover incredibly beautiful waterfall is special in that there can be observed an interesting phenomenon - the fountain of fire.

Of course it's not a real fire or volcanic lava, but for ordinary water refracts light in an unusual way. Muted rays of the setting sun dive into the spray of the fountain and reflected in the drops of water, creating an unusual light in orange and yellow

This phenomenon can be observed only in a few days of February and then only under a cloudless sky. Ponytail is seasonal in nature waterfall that only appears in late winter Mr. and early spring. It springs from the mountain El Capitan in two separate streams, which are collected in one descend from a height of 479 meters - water spray form beautiful mist that goes to Yosemite Valley, another 150 meters down.

Indescribably beautiful waterfall
